ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿ ಯರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ವ್ಯೂಹವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಹೇಗಂದರೆ, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಯುದ್ಧರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಕಡಿಮೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
