ಏಲಿಯು ಸಮುವೇಲ ನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗಿ ಮಲಗು; ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾಗ ನೀನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಮಾತನಾಡು; ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನು ಕೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಮು ವೇಲನು ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿದನು.
