బెన్యామీనీయులు జరుగుదాని చూచి తమకు అపజయము కలిగినదని తెలిసికొనిరి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తాము గిబియామీద పెట్టిన మాటుగాండ్రను నమ్మి బెన్యా మీనీయులకు స్థలమిచ్చిరి.

இஸ்ரவேலர் கிபியாவுக்கு அப்பாலே வைத்த பதிவிடையை நம்பியிருந்தபடியினாலே, பென்யமீனருக்கு இடம் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அதினாலே அவர்கள் முறிய அடிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள் என்று பென்யமீன் புத்திரருக்குக் காணப்பட்டது.

ഇങ്ങനെ ബെന്യാമീന്യര്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ തോറ്റു എന്നു കണ്ടു; എന്നാല്‍ യിസ്രായേല്യര്‍ ഗിബെയെക്കരികെ ആക്കിയിരുന്ന പതിയിരിപ്പുകാരെ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ബെന്യാമീന്യര്‍ക്കും സ്ഥലം കൊടുത്തു.

ಹೀಗೆ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಾವು ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೇವೆಂದು ಕಂಡರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಗಿಬೆಯದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚು ಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
