తన అల్లునితో అనగా, వారిద్దరు కూర్చుండి అన్న పానములు పుచ్చుకొనిరి. తరువాత ఆ చిన్నదాని తండ్రి దయచేసి యీ రాత్రి అంతయు ఉండి సంతోషపడుము, నీ హృదయమును సంతోషపరచుకొనుము అని ఆ మనుష్యునితో చెప్పి

ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರು ಕುಳಿತು ಕೂಡಿ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದರು. ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ತಂದೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಇರು ಅಂದನು.
