అందు కతడు మేము యూదా బేత్లెహేము నుండి ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల మన్యము అవతలకు వెళ్లుచున్నాము. నేను అక్కడివాడను; నేను యూదా బేత్లెహేమునకు పోయి యుంటిని, ఇప్పుడు యెహోవా మందిరమునకు వెళ్లుచున్నాను, ఎవడును తన యింట నన్ను చేర్చుకొనలేదు.

andu kathadumemu yoodhaa betlehemunundi ephraayimee yula manyamu avathalaku velluchunnaamu. Nenu akkadivaadanu; nenu yoodhaa betlehemunaku poyi yuntini, ippudu yehovaa mandiramunaku velluchunnaanu, evadunu thana yinta nannu cherchukonaledu.

ಅವನು ಇವನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗು ತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವನು; ಈಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಮನೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

And he said unto him, "We are passing from Bethlehem in Judah toward the side of Mount Ephraim; from thence am I. And I went to Bethlehem in Judah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man who receiveth me to his house.
