അനന്തരം എഫ്രയീമ്യര് ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി വടക്കോട്ടു ചെന്നു യിഫ്താഹിനോടുനീ അമ്മോന്യരോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്വാന് പോയപ്പോള് കൂടെ പോരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ വിളിക്കാഞ്ഞതു എന്തു? ഞങ്ങള് നിന്നെ അകത്തിട്ടു വീട്ടിന്നു തീ വെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮಿನ ಜನರು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆಪ್ತಾಹನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಲು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ? ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡುವೆವು ಅಂದರು.
