సమాజ ప్రధానులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాతోడని వారితో ప్రమాణము చేసియుండిరి గనుక ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వారిని హతముచేయలేదు. కాగా సమాజమంతయు ప్రధానులకు విరోధముగా మొఱ్ఱపెట్టిరి.

samaaja pradhaanulu ishraayeleeyula dhevudaina yehovaathoodani vaarithoo pramaanamu chesiyundiri ganuka ishraayeleeyulu vaarini hathamucheyaledu. Kaagaa samaajamanthayu pradhaa nulaku virodhamugaa morrapettiri.

சபையின் பிரபுக்கள் அவர்களுக்கு இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பேரில் ஆணையிட்டிருந்தபடியினால், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் அவர்களைச் சங்காரம்பண்ணவில்லை; ஆனாலும் சபையார் எல்லாரும் பிரபுக்கள்மேல் முறுமுறுத்தார்கள்.

സഭയിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര്‍ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെക്കൊണ്ടു അവരോടു സത്യംചെയ്തിരിക്കയാല്‍ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കള്‍ അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചില്ല; എന്നാല്‍ സഭ മുഴുവനും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ നേരെ പിറുപിറുത്തു.

ಸಭೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು.

And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.
