అప్పుడు యాజకుడు ఆ స్త్రీచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించి ఆమెతో చెప్పవలసిన దేమనగా ఏ పురుషుడును నీతో శయనింపని యెడలను, నీవు నీ భర్తకు అధీనురాలవైనప్పుడు నీవు తప్పిపోయి అపవిత్రమైన కార్యముచేయక పోయినయెడలను, శాపము కలుగజేయు ఈ చేదునీళ్లనుండి నిర్దోషివి కమ్ము.

ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು: ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗದೆ ನೀನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಳಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಜಾರತ್ವಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಶಪಿಸುವ ಈ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ನೀರಿಗೆ ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗು.
