ఆ పురుషుడు యాజకునియొద్దకు తన భార్యను తీసికొనివచ్చి, ఆమె విషయము తూమెడు యవలపిండిలో పదియవ వంతును తేవలెను. వాడు దానిమీద తైలము పోయకూడదు దానిమీద సాంబ్రాణి వేయకూడదు; ఏలయవగా అది రోషవిషయమైన నైవేద్యము, అనగా దోషమును జ్ఞాప కముచేయుటకై జ్ఞాపకార్థమైన నైవేద్యము.

aa puru shudu yaajakuniyoddhaku thana bhaaryanu theesikonivachi, aame vishayamu thoomedu yavalapindilo padhiyava vanthunu thevalenu. Vaadu daanimeeda thailamu poyakoodadu daanimeeda saambraani veyakoodadu; yelayavagaa adhi roshavishayamaina naivedyamu, anagaa doshamunu gnaapa kamucheyutakai gnaapakaarthamaina naivedyamu.

then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder offering to draw attention to guilt.

तो वह पुरूष अपनी स्त्री को याजक के पास ले जाए, और उसके लिये एपा का दसवां अंश जव का मैदा चढ़ावा करके ले आए; परन्तु उस पर तेल न डाले, न लोबान रखे, क्योंकि वह जलनवाला और स्मरण दिलानेवाला, अर्थात् अधर्म का स्मरण करानेवाला अन्नबलि होगा।

ಆ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಏಫದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಜವೆಗೋಧಿಯ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸಾಂಬ್ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಹಾಕ ಬಾರದು; ಅದು ರೋಷದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯೂ ಅಪರಾಧ ವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.
