రాజగు నెబుకద్నెజరు ఆశ్చర్యపడి తీవరముగ లేచి మేము ముగ్గురు మనుష్యులను బంధించి యీ అగ్నిలో వేసితివిుగదా యని తన మంత్రులనడిగెను. వారు రాజా, సత్యమే అని రాజుతో ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చిరి.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆ ಚ್ಚರನು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನಾಗಾರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ನಾವು ಮೂವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದೆ ವಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ಹೌದು, ಸತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
