నారబట్టలు వేసికొని యేటిపైన ఆడుచున్న ఆ మనుష్యుని మాటను నేను వింటిని; ఏమనగా, అతడు తన కుడిచేతిని ఎడమచేతిని ఆకాశమువైపుకెత్తి నిత్యజీవియగు వాని నామమున ఒట్టుపెట్టుకొని, ఒకకాలము కాలములు అర్ధకాలము పరిశుద్ధజనముయొక్క బలమును కొట్టివేయుట ముగింపబడగా సకల సంగతులు సమాప్తములగుననెను.

The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand towards heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives for ever, saying, "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed."

அப்பொழுது சணல்வஸ்திரம் தரித்தவரும் ஆற்றின் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் நிற்கிறவருமாகிய புருஷன் தம்முடைய வலதுகரத்தையும் தம்முடைய இடதுகரத்தையும் வானத்துக்கு நேராக ஏறெடுத்து, ஒரு காலமும், காலங்களும், அரைக்காலமும் செல்லும் என்றும்; பரிசுத்த ஜனங்களின் வல்லமையைச் சிதறடித்தல் முடிவு பெறும்போதே இவைகளெல்லாம் நிறைவேறித் தீருமென்றும் என்றென்றைக்கும் ஜீவித்திருக்கிறவர்பேரில் ஆணையிடக்கேட்டேன்.

ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു നദിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തിന്മീതെ നിലക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന് വലങ്കയ്യും ഇടങ്കയ്യും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തേക്കുയര്ത്തിഎന്നേക്കും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനാണ, ഇനി കാലവും കാലങ്ങളും കാലാര്ദ്ധവും ചെല്ലും; അവര് വിശുദ്ധജനത്തിന്റെ ബലത്തെ തകര്ത്തുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം ഈ കാര്യങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും നിവൃത്തിയാകും എന്നിങ്ങനെ സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഞാന് കേട്ടു.

ನದಿಯ ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ನಾರು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಎಡಗೈಯನ್ನೂ ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಸದಾಕಾಲ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರುವಾತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು--ಅದು ಕಾಲ, ಕಾಲಗಳು, ಅರ್ಧಕಾಲ ಇರುವದೆಂದೂ ಆತನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಜನರ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ಈಡೇರುವವೆಂದೂ ಅಂದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
