అయితే వారు నా మాట విననొల్లక నామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేసి, తమకిష్టమైన హేయకృత్యములు చేయుట మానలేదు, ఐగుప్తీయుల విగ్రహములను పూజించుట మానలేదు గనుక వారు ఐగుప్తీయుల దేశములో ఉండగానే నేను నా రౌద్రము వారిమీద కుమ్మరించి నా కోపము వారి మీద తీర్చుకొందునని యనుకొంటిని.

ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು; ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.

But they rebelled against Me and would not hearken unto Me. They did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt. "`Then I said, "I will pour out My fury upon them, to accomplish My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt."
